Pittsburgh Family & Senior Photographer

My Story

I've been drawn to beautiful images for as long as I can remember, and even as a kid I was the one with a camera in hand trying to capture moments before they slipped away.

Life got busy through college and a career in engineering, and photography took a back seat. Then I had kids, and something clicked back into place.

As a mom, I know which details to look for: the way a toddler's hand wraps around yours, the way they rest their head on your shoulder like you're the safest place in the world. Those are the moments that go fast, and the ones I'm always watching for.

Now I get to do for other families exactly what I'm doing for my own: creating images that are real, warm, and worth looking at for years to come.

My Approach

My approach as a Pittsburgh family photographer is a mix of gentle direction and stepping back to let things unfold. We'll capture some posed shots you'll love, but I also leave plenty of space for kids to just be themselves, because that's where the magic usually happens. When we need a little momentum, I use play-prompts to get things going naturally.

For senior sessions, it's a different kind of fun. Without the adorable chaos of little ones, I have more creative freedom. We can slow down, try new things, and create images that feel like true art. These are portraits that capture your senior's personality in a way you'll treasure forever.

"She made us feel so comfortable and managed to get my 3 year old to smile for most of the photos!"
