here is nothing quite like autumn in Western Pennsylvania! When the crisp October air hits and the trees in South Park transform into vibrant golden and amber tones, it creates an unforgettable backdrop for outdoor family portraits.

Recently, I had the delight of photographing a wonderful family who traveled down from the Green Tree area to capture memories surrounded by South Park’s peak fall foliage. Although we originally had to reschedule our first date due to a sudden cold, the delay worked out to be a total blessing in disguise—we ended up with the absolute best autumn colors of the entire season!

• Texturizing & Patterns: Mom and her older daughter wore stunning floral dresses that added movement and grace, while the baby girl melted hearts in a cozy knit sweater dress with tiny tights.

Capturing Natural Smiles with Young Kids & Pets

With two little ones, sessions are naturally full of movement, dynamic play, and sweetness! The toddler brought so much playful energy, while her baby sister gave us sweet, wide-eyed smiles (not to mention dimples!)

We were also joined by their gorgeous Bernedoodle dog, who was such a good boy and looked right at the camera!

Pro Tip for Bringing Dogs to Your Photo Session: If you plan to include your family pet in your session, always bring an extra handler like a grandparent, friend, or relative! Having Grandma along made a huge difference. Not only did she look after their sweet dog while we took smaller breakout portraits, but she was also behind the camera helping coax the sweetest natural smiles from her granddaughters!
